At age seven I dreamt of becoming an artist, after three decades as a graphic designer and commercial photographer, I made the switch.
Working in multi-medium materials to create Abstract Realism paintings, while also working in traditional subject matter like landscapes and still life in oil, including photography as another method to express a personal vision.

My first impression of the sun reflected in the water was that it mimicked the pattern of the skin of a giraffe.

Wonderful photo and calming thoughts, fits me well 4 am in the stillness of winter's darkness
At first glance, the reflection of the water on the rocks made me think I was looking at brain coral. Nothing more than clear water entices me to paint.

I love the dancing light upon the water...over the rocks...the puzzle like pattern...so much like the overlay of puzzling events in our lives that cannot stop the flow of clear silent water/lifeforce that supports us always.
